THE JOB:

The Director of Network Strategy & Architecture will own all network solution designs, leading a team of senior architects while overseeing both physical and logical network design implementation. This role ensures optimal network performance through proactive issue detection, delivering business and customer benefits. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operational governance, architecture reviews, vendor management, and continuous design improvement to enhance
cost efficiency, scalability, availability, security, and supportability.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Lead and mentor senior network architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment

• Set goals, manage performance, and maintain high technical standards for optimal solutions

• Guide cross-functional teams to deliver the best digital experiences and align network designs with business objectives

• Develop and oversee network designs that optimize performance, reliability, and adhere to industry standards

• Implement monitoring systems for proactive issue detection and continuously improve observability practices

• Articulate the business value of network designs and create use cases demonstrating their impact on business goals

• Ensure designs meet regulatory standards, drive vendor performance, and align with enterprise architecture strategies

• Continuously improve network designs for cost efficiency, scalability, availability, security, and supportability

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, architecture, and design within large-scale enterprise environments

• Deep expertise with technologies such as Cisco (including ACI and Wireless), Palo Alto, Citrix NetScaler, and Zscaler; experience with Juniper is a plus

• 6+ years of experience leading and mentoring technical teams, with a proven track record as a people leader fostering high-performance cultures

• 4+ years of experience in senior-level roles requiring strategic ownership of complex network solutions

• Strong background in building resilient, scalable, and secure network infrastructures across hybrid environments

• Passion for product-centric leadership, with the ability to translate business needs into high-impact network strategies and solutions

• Proven ability to blend technical depth with strategic thinking, driving innovation and aligning network capabilities with enterprise goals
