- Bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in a design role, including 2+ years in leadership preferred
- Footwear design experience preferred
- Strong passion for fashion and understanding of the industry landscape
- 5+ years as a senior or lead designer in a corporate or design firm
- International market experience preferred
- Drawing, sketching, 2D and 3D skills or willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Email, and Outlook
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Salary Range and Benefits
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $146,400 to $346,200, depending on location, qualifications, skills, and experience. Benefits information can be found here.

Team Collaboration

You'll collaborate with the Sr. Design Director, apparel and graphics directors, and external partners to create a cohesive vision across categories. Building strong partnerships within the design community and cross-functional teams will be key. You'll foster a culture of collaboration, encouraging exploration and innovation.

We seek a Footwear Design Director passionate about innovation and blending sport with fashion. You should be experienced in driving design vision and strategy, while remaining hands-on in product development. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages diverse personalities, and can realize a partner's vision while maintaining brand integrity.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You will shape and drive design direction, leading the team to execute innovative product concepts. Your focus will be on product integrity, innovation, and performance, overseeing projects from concept to execution. You will develop design strategies, communicate visions, and ensure projects meet standards and timelines. Your role is pivotal in pioneering new spaces and integrating strategic innovation into the category.
