      The Director of Accounting will oversee and manage MRO’s core financial operations, including procure-to-pay, payroll, external financial reporting, treasury, and offshore financial processes. This role requires a strong background in both public and private accounting or, alternatively, 7–10 years of public accounting experience. An active CPA license is required.

      TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Oversee the full procure-to-pay function, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
      • Manage corporate treasury operations, including cash flow management and banking relationships.
      • Supervise expense reporting and corporate credit card programs.
      • Consolidate and oversee the accounting functions of the company's subsidiary in India.
      • Manage the company's payroll function to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
      • Lead a team of five direct reports, including experienced accounting seniors and staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
      • Perform technical accounting work related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
      • Conduct on-demand accounting research to solve complex accounting issues.
      • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.

      SKILLS|EXPERIENCE:

      • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. A Master’s degree is preferred
      • Experience: Extensive experience in both public and private accounting, or 7-10 years of public accounting experience in lieu of private accounting experience.
      • Certification: Active CPA license required.
      • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and other accounting software. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
      • Accounting Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP. Experience with ASC 805 (Business Combinations) is a plus.
      • Skills: Proven experience in team and people management, Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills and the ability to identify and execute on solutions to challenges that arise.
      • Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
      • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
