Job Description

- Oversee and guide treatment programming to meet licensing, contractual, and accreditation standards.
- Supervise and support behavioral health staff, including hiring, onboarding, caseload assignments, and performance management.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to master’s level clinicians pursuing professional licensure.
- Ensure the use of evidence-based practices and monitor program fidelity.
- Operate within established financial parameters and participate in budgetary planning.
- Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and review critical incidents.
- Review and approve treatment plans and progress reports.
- Provide staff training on clinical practices and compliance with standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with Medicaid, managed care organizations, private insurers, and referral agencies.
- Collaborate with community providers to support program development and enhance service delivery.
- Analyze data and oversee performance quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide direct services as needed.
- Participate in programmatic on-call rotation.
- Complete required training and development.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Current Iowa licensure (LISW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Minimum of two years of supervisory or clinical experience in behavioral health, residential, or foster care settings.
- Experience with evidence-based treatment, Medicaid, managed care, and juvenile court systems preferred.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ability to work within electronic health records and data systems.
- Ability to move around campus and travel as required.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance meet agency standards.
- Work primarily in office and residential settings with some travel required.
- Flexible schedule with some evenings/weekends.
- You must be able to hear, see, talk, and move within varied environments, including those that may be stressful or emotionally intense.
