      We are looking for an experienced and visionary Director of Brand & Creative Strategy to lead the strategic functions that shape Intuit Credit Karma’s brand foundations, as well as uplevel the creative strategies that help drive our business. This team currently leads brand strategy, positioning, naming and messaging; consults as part of Intuit’s cornerstone brand counsel helping co-create Intuit’s consumer platform; develops creative briefs across all marketing channels and draws actionable insight from creative performance. We have bold ambitions to expand the Credit Karma brand in market and need a strong leader who can inspire and influence across the company to gain support for Brand-building as an accelerator for long-term growth.

      What you'll do:

      • Own and develop durable brand foundations and best practices, including brand-level strategy, positioning, naming and messaging, along with managing the development and consistent application of visual and verbal brand elements across all communication channels
      • Drive how brand strategy is best deployed, and how it can optimally influence the consumer—in messaging and across all experiential touch points in the ecosystem
      • Develop fresh insights and creative strategies to build Credit Karma’s relevance and differentiation in market. Collaborate with Research and Product Marketing to inform these strategies, and with Media, Growth Marketing and Creative Production to deploy in market
      • Partner closely with ECD and the creative team to devise provocative strategies to spark innovative and impactful marketing campaigns, leveraging consumer, industry and cultural insights, as well as deep knowledge of digital marketing trends and channel behavior
      • Set the vision for the Strategy team and how it serves the broader business goals of the company. Develop the team’s capabilities to operate as a best-in-class function and maximize value delivered to the organization
      • Establish clear interaction models between Brand and Creative Strategy, and with adjacent functions like Product Marketing & Research
      • Evangelize Brand Strategy and demonstrate positive impact on the business to grow the team over time. Build strong relationships and trust with leaders across the company, to ensure Brand is brought in to consult on the right things and the right time
      • Formalize measurement and optimization approach to brand health, creative performance of brand marketing, and brand social media (both organic and paid) in partnership with the Analytics, Research, Media and Social teams
      • Collaborate across Intuit to influence how the parent brand, Consumer Platform and Credit Karma brand harmonize together to strengthen each other

      What we are looking for:

      • 10+ years of experience in Brand Marketing/Strategy at a consumer technology company or commensurate experience, such as Creative Agency (at least some in-house experience required)
      • A proven track record of using data at all levels of decision making and operations – both quantitative and qualitative
      • Demonstrable strategic contributions to groundbreaking creative initiatives that are notable for their innovation, originality and effectiveness in driving measurable success
      • Experience managing and mentoring a high performing team

      Pay Transparency Notice:

      Credit Karma’s mission of championing financial progress for all starts from within. That’s why we implemented role-based compensation, which ensures people who are in the same role receive the same pay with variations for geographic location only. It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $190,000-$212,000, plus equity and benefits.
