- Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with Momofuku Goods' overall vision and business objectives.
- Collaborate with Retail Sales to identify distribution gaps and opportunities, merchandising opportunities, and conduct pricing analyses.
- Work with cross-functional teams to determine and optimize price pack architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on annual marketing plans, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
- Implement robust tracking and measurement mechanisms to evaluate the impact of shopper marketing spend and marketing campaigns across various channels
- Analyze and interpret data to identify successful strategies, optimize marketing efforts, and enhance return on investment.
- Conduct market research to develop compelling product positioning and differentiation to resonate with target audiences.
- Develop and implement shopper marketing strategies that drive brand visibility, influence purchase decisions, and optimize in-store and online shopping experiences.
- Collaborate with Retail Sales to create customized shopper marketing programs for key retail partners.
- Utilize shopper data and insights to design effective shopper marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Conduct research and analyze consumer behavior, shopping trends, and competitor activities to gain insights into consumer preferences and habits while making purchasing decisions.
- Collaborating with retailers and channel partners to create joint marketing initiatives and promotional activities that benefit both the company and the retailer.
- Creating and implementing effective in-store marketing materials such as shelf talkers, display units, banners, and other POS materials to attract shoppers' attention and drive sales.
- Perform category analysis to gain insights into market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor performance.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform new product development, pricing strategies, and promotional tactics.
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the existing product portfolio and lead cyclical portfolio reviews (SKU rationalization and prioritization) to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Retail Sales, DTC and Finance, to assess the performance of each SKU and its alignment with business objectives.
- Lead product launches from ideation to execution, ensuring the seamless introduction of new products, line extensions, and existing portfolio renovations into the market.
- Assist with the development of new products, gaining and maintaining close familiarity with the category, competition, consumers, and key retailers to ensure the product meets financial targets.
- Work closely with Product Development to identify and prioritize new product opportunities that align with consumer preferences, market trends, and business goals.
- Develop launch plans for new products with a particular focus on retail, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum impact in the market.
- Conduct post-launch evaluations for new products and marketing initiatives to assess their success and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously gather feedback from internal stakeholders, customers, and retailers to refine strategies and enhance the product portfolio.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience (3+ years) in brand management within the CPG food and beverage space.
- Strong data analytics skills, including familiarity with syndicated and shopper data (e.g., Nielsen); expertise manipulating large data sets in Excel; experience building and maintaining performance dashboards and crafting written reports
- Demonstrated success in launching and growing brands, with a strong understanding of marketing principles and consumer behavior across multiple channels (e.g., grocery, DTC, Amazon).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Creative thinker with a passion for culinary arts and a deep understanding of current food and beverage trends.
- Experience managing budgets and delivering results within financial constraints.
- 5+ years of brand management experience at a high-growth CPG food and beverage brand.
- Familiarity with the Momofuku brand and its philosophy is a plus.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Brand Management to lead the development and execution of brand and shopper marketing initiatives for Momofuku Goods. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a deep understanding of consumer trends, and a track record of successfully launching and growing product lines. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, building consumer loyalty, maximizing the impact of our products in the market, and implementing effective shopper marketing strategies.
This role requires extensive CPG experience and does not interface with Momofuku’s restaurants.

Compensation Band: $130,000 - $150,000 annually
