- Responsible for vibrant and dynamic ministries to children at WCPC by providing consistently excellent programming that children and parents will love and want to invite others into.
- Manage children's Sunday School program(s) for 5th grade and below and other various midweek programs, activities and/or outreach events as appropriate.
- Maintains a firm grasp of the culture, strategy, and membership of WCPC with the ability to align programming, leaders, and volunteers with its mission and vision.
- Oversee curriculum selection and implementation for all Children's Ministry programs.What you need to have:
- Growing and deepening faith in Jesus Christ; strong Biblical knowledge and Bible-centered values.
- Knowledgeable in child development and Christian formation with experience in Children's Ministry.
- Strong administrative, leadership and relational skills.
- Experience in building, overseeing and developing both staff and volunteer ministry teams.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a large, multifaceted church.
- Strong written and oral communicator.
