For me, that’s a big breath of fresh air."- Sunrise Leader At Sunrise, our Director of Concierge, Transportation and Security serves as the community's brand ambassador by providing superior customer service to residents and guests. Resolves community and other issues efficiently and in a professional manner. Liaison between transportation, security, activities and other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

      RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

      Responsibilities:- Supervise Assisted Living and Independent Living concierge, transportation and security department team members- Provide needed coaching, training and counseling to team members, ensuring they meet and exceed our service standards- Ensure team members provide outstanding service to residents, visitors and team members- Produce and maintain staffing schedules for department using OnShift Scheduler- Maintain open lines of communication with management to ensure team is meeting the needs of residents and guests- Greet guests and residents in a highly professional manner, exceeding expectation from arrival through departure- Issue and monitor visitor and contractor access ID badges and log in information to ensure highest level of safety and security- Adhere to the health and safety policies- Instruct, train and follow emergency procedures in the event of an emergency or disaster- Safety and risk management- Perform other duties as requested or needed

      Qualifications:- High school diploma or hospitality certificate- Strong written and verbal communication and problem solving skills- Friendliness and professionalism- Possess positive attitude, agility and flexibility- Highly organized and excellent time management skills- Have the ability to work well in a team but also set standards and lead by example- Exceptional listening skills and passionate about working with seniors- Ability to multitask- Ability to recognize emergency situation and take immediate action- Have good judgment, problem solving and decision making abilities- Proficiency in computer skills to include the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel as well as the ability to learn new applications- Must be comfortable working in close proximity to unleashed animals- Prior experience in upscale hospitality/service industry setting strongly preferred- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications- Competent in organizational, time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills; ability to deal with issues involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
