      It takes a village of vendors to support a company, but a skilled contract management expert to make it successful. We’re seeking an experienced supply chain professional who champions cost efficiencies without compromising quality or safety in our multi-site program. The ideal candidate the Director of Contracts & Procurement values reducing cost only to reinvest the savings into our deserving customers and co-workers. With direct access to senior management, this individual will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and pricing, reconcile rebates, participate in GPOs, manage audits and RFPs and lead recommendations in streamlined procurement. Expertise in negotiating health plans is a plus. Our company hires the best in their craft and continues to support their careers.

      This position is in person at our corporate office in Hershey, PA (830 Cherry Drive, Hershey PA 17033).

      Director of Contracts & Procurement Responsibilities:

      • Overseeing the sourcing, purchasing, and negotiation of goods and services necessary for the organization’s operations
      • Strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of market dynamics to optimize procurement strategies and drive cost efficiencies
      • Preparation of proposals, negotiations, and the administration of activities in the organization’s contract functions following company policies and legal requirements
      • Strategically track contract renewals and notices, and set up vendor meetings to review expectations and business results

      Director of Contracts & Procurement Requirements:

      • Advanced degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
      • Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM)
      • 5 to 8 years of supply chain experience and procurement within healthcare industry and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles
      • Knowledge of contract law and vendor management
      • Proficiency in procurement software and tools
      • Strategic thinking, excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
      • Strong negotiation skills
