      Director of Digital and Marketing Technology

      Job Summary:

      The Director of Digital and Marketing sets the strategic vision and is responsible for the execution of eCommerce and Marketing technologies. Drives cutting-edge and reliable solutions to ensure competitive position. This Leader must be able to think strategically, look at the business analytically, consider the end-user (Marketing and Guest-Facing), and be able to implement products and business initiatives at scale.

      The focus on digital marketing, loyalty and consumer insights are exponentially increasing with the complexity of the ever-changing industry. With new channels and Guest interaction points (Loyalty, RR app, website, online ordering, dine-in digital experience, catering, 3rd party, etc.), this role must assist in developing and managing products that support our Marketing Team.

      This role will must be able to manage priorities against capacity in alignment with Stakeholders and the business. This role will build and inspire a high-energy, positive, results oriented culture across Teams rich in diversity and experience. This role is an extremely visible position that will interact at all levels of the Restaurant Support Center and our Vendors to bring products, features, solutions, and services to market.

      This role must have a delivery-focused mindset, roll up your sleeve’s mentality, working with various teams to drive Stakeholder / customer success and turn those findings into scalable products. Must consistently inspect and manage the roadmaps, backlogs and associated delivery plans using own depth, product development experience while assessing risks and continuously raise the bar across all dimensions of the business.

      This position requires high-level leadership with the ability and desire to lead, mentor, develop, and retain exceptional Team Members in the MarTech area. This position must have a passion to lead with a spirit of advancement and fosters a culture of collaboration and engagement.

      This position will devise complete product definitions for each aspect of the functional portfolio to include customer requirements, value proposition, documentation, and business case curation. This role is responsible for ensuring that all projects incorporate outstanding technical and business judgment, and that resulting products are successful from end user desirability, technical/operational feasibility, and business viability standpoints.

      Qualifications:

      • Information Technology; 10 years (preferred)

      • Strong technical acumen; ability to think creatively and strategically to capitalize on unstructured, ambiguous business situations. Willingness and zeal to work in a “hands-on” manner with complex technical challenges.

      • Must be able to see the big picture but deliver on details

      • Be of unquestionable integrity, ethical and moral character

      • Must have technical prowess and can navigate code so that you can best understand the technical limitations of a product

      • Use data to make decisions. Have a scrappy, quick method for collecting data and make decisions with imperfect information.

      • Advanced relationship management and leadership skills and comfort level communicating with top tier leadership.

      • Demonstrated ability to articulate a vision and generate necessary consensus behind business plans; and is results driven and comfortable in driving change in a matrix organization

      • Proven success in building a business strategy and presenting innovate solutions to executives and colleagues.

      • Extensive experience leading and managing cross-functional teams; exceptional project management skills.

      • Experience developing customer-centric product strategy and aligning that with long-term company growth objectives.

      • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities given aggressive timelines, ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous business environment, ability to manage internal and external resources.

      • In-depth knowledge of the following technologies:

        • Marketing Technologies such as SalesForce, Twilio, etc.

        • eCommerce and Digital technologies

        • Loyalty platforms

        • Software Engineering principles and practices

      • The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to provide solutions to a customer’s technical business problem.

      Compensation Range: $153,500.00 - $211,100.00
