      Job Summary:

      The Director of Digital Strategy ensures that each venue in their division has the appropriate technology solutions and support in place for successful operations.
      Primary activities include collaborating with Division venues on a regular basis to ensure that current and future technology solutions meet requirements and expectations. This position requires up to 30% travel.


      Job Responsibilities:

      • Manage technology and business initiatives across numerous venues in the Western division, collaborating with senior leadership and executive management to devise technology strategies that align with organizational goals
      • Provide strategic guidance and input for critical planning and IT roadmap creation, vetting potential additions and expansions to technology solutions to maintain consistency across the portfolio
      • Serve as a technical domain expert for operations personnel, applying business intuition to execute the desired client experience and devising innovative technical solutions that meet operational needs considering budgetary and infrastructure constraints
      • Lead strategic relationships with key business partners including management, vendors, and other technology resources, encouraging collaboration and facilitating achievement of common goals in a timely manner
      • Develop business case rationalizations, cost-benefits and feasibility analysis
      • Apply impact analysis documentation on installations, upgrades and deployments
      • Direct Project Manager(s) in development of detailed project plans for technology implementations
      • Escalate IT problems and major incidents to ensure minimal impact to operations
      • Submit a summary of venue activity on a bi-weekly basis to Operations leaders
      • Nurture innovation by identifying venues suited for emerging technology pilots
      • Act as an escalation contact for Operations Teams on all technology needs
      • Establish strong working relationships with internal IT departments, inclusive of Security and Networking, Systems Infrastructure and Field Support


      Job Qualifications:

      • Minimum Education & Experience: BS Degree
      • BS in Management Information Systems, Hospitality Management, or equivalent preferred
      • Work Experience: 5-7 yrs. working with both application systems and infrastructure
      • Experience in multiple account management in a technical field
      • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels of the business
      • Proficiency in project management principles and standard methodologies
      • Project Management certification a plus
      • Technical knowledge: Microsoft tech stack, LAN/WAN (Cisco, Fortinet), Cloud services (AWS, Azure), POS (Clover, Oracle Micros, and Square), and Credit Card Payment ecosystem
