      The Opportunity

      We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Event Operations to join our dynamic Events team! In this role, you'll be at the forefront of planning, driving, and managing our global events. Your expertise and leadership will ensure that every event runs smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining the highest level of operational excellence.

      What you'll Do

      • Develop and implement a forward-thinking global event operations strategy that aligns perfectly with Adobe's overall marketing and business objectives.

      • Take the lead in planning, organizing, and managing a diverse range of events, such as conferences, trade shows, product launches, and customer/partner gatherings. Your commitment to operational excellence and adherence to best practices will be instrumental in the success of these events.

      • Your expertise in team management will shine as you lead and guide a team of event operations professionals, providing them with the support and mentorship they need to complete high-quality events.

      • Build and nurture relationships with vendors, partners, and external agencies, strategically negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficient event operations.

      • Handling event budgets and ensuring that all events are implemented within the allocated resources and timelines.

      • Implement and maintain a robust event management system that optimizes event operations and measures event success through registration, attendee tracking, and post-event analysis.

      • Drive innovation and efficiency by continuously assessing and refining event operations processes and tools while maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

      What you need to succeed

      • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Event Management, or a related field.

      • A wealth of experience in event operations or event management, preferably within the software or technology industry, spanning 10+ years.

      • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with an ability to inspire and develop a successful team.

      • Excellent negotiation and vendor leadership skills, with a clear focus on cost control and efficiency.

      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement.

      • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with diverse internal partners.

      • Familiarity with Adobe's product suite and a solid understanding of the software industry.

      • A willingness to travel as needed for events, adding to the excitement and diversity of your role.

      Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $117,000 -- $259,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

      At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

      In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
