Job Description

- Manage a team of Regional Facility Managers
- Develop and manage the maintenance training curriculum by utilizing outside vendor trainings and partnering with RPM Living Training Department.
- Design and implement preventative maintenance program for all properties.
- Work with vendors, regional managers and lead maintenance technicians to identify cost saving opportunities with vendors.
- Negotiate and manage annual schedule of items to reduce long term costs.
- Assist and review scope of work for Capex items.
- Assist Regional Managers with troubleshooting larger maintenance issues.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard maintenance technicians.
- Inspect properties.
- Develop monthly Safety meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience as a Regional Maintenance Director in the multifamily industry
- Must have previous experience creating company-wide SOPs and training.
- EPA or HVAC Certification
- CPO certification preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management, Adobe, Yardi
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
- Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
- May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
- Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
- This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week.
- The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
