      Overview

      Opportunity: Director of Finance

      The iconic Sea Crest Beach Resort in North Falmouth, MA is seeking a Director of Finance. This leadership role is responsible for driving financial strategy, managing budgets, and optimizing performance. This is an opportunity to join HHM Hotels on a team that is committed to excellence on Cape Cod’s scenic shoreline.

      This role is available to be Hybrid, with certain days remote vs. at the resort.

      Your Focus

      • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing finance team through effective recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management, ensuring alignment with HHM Hotels’ core values and service standards.

      • Serve as a strategic advisor to resort leadership by analyzing financial data, identifying opportunities for growth, and driving operational efficiencies across all departments.

      • Oversee all financial transactions and controls, including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, purchasing, and expense management, ensuring compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and labor laws.

      • Own the full financial reporting process, including the preparation and presentation of monthly operational reports, budgets, and forecasts for ownership and executive stakeholders.

      • Ensure all legal, insurance, and licensing obligations are met by monitoring contracts, regulatory filings, and risk management protocols.

      • Strengthen internal controls by auditing systems related to procurement, cash handling, payroll, inventory, capital assets, and access security.

      • Champion financial integrity, accountability, and innovation, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement at Cape Cod’s premier beachfront resort.

      • Uphold workplace safety standards by modeling safe behaviors and adhering to OSHA and MSDS requirements.

      • Take on additional projects and initiatives as needed to support the resort’s evolving needs and long-term goals.

      Your Background and Skills

      • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
      • 5 to 10 years of accounting experience in the hospitality industry.

      • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.
