- Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
- Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
- Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
- Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.

Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Director of Food & Beverage for the iconic Arizona Biltmore!
Located in the heart of uptown Phoenix since 1929, this gorgeous 39-acre property has 700 rooms, villas and cottages, over 315,000 square feet of banquet space, and 8 food and beverage outlets. Fresh off of a much anticipated multi-million-dollar renovation, this is an exciting time to join the leadership team at this iconic property.
In this role, you will oversee all food and beverage operations managing an hourly team of over 400+ that includes over 12 salaried leaders. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational, positive leader with a talent for training and developing others, a strong knowledge of industry trends and a passion for creative F&B programming. At least 5 years experience as a Director of Food & Beverage with a background in luxury hotels and high volume banquets is required.
