      Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage to join our exceptional Leadership team. Don't miss this unique opportunity to be part of our award-winning team, while beginning your career with the world's leading luxury hotel company!

      The Director of Food and Beverage forms part of the Executive Leadership team (Planning Committee) who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Resort. The Director manages the Food & Beverag e Operation which incl udes all Restaurants, Banquets , Pool & Beach, In Room Dining, Stewarding and Private Bar. The Director of Food & Beverage will report directly to the Resort Manager.

      The primary responsibilities for this position are to ensure our guests receive the highest level of food quality and service, manage and develop a team, strong partnership with Executive Chef, devise and monitor an annual budget, manage labor control and operating expenses and develop relationships with key suppliers and industry associates.

      What you will do

      • Coordinate the selection , training, development, and evaluation of employees and managers in the Food & Beverage Division through effective management and leadership to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; long-range strategic planning for outlet operation. (20%)
      • Control labor and operating expenses through effective planning, budgeting, purchasing decisions, policy making, and inventory control while focusing on creative cost control and revenue generation solutions to maximize profit in the division and hotel. (20%)
      • Be visible in the operation, recognize and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons through effective marketing and personal relationships .( 20%)
      • Work closely with the General Manager and Planning Committee to design effective menus , wine lists, and amenity options while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price. (10%)
      • Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments. (10%)
      • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact . (10%)
      • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. (10%)

      What you bring

      • Minimum 2–3 years of progressive experience in senior Food & Beverage leadership roles within a luxury or resort environment.
      • Previous experience as Director or Assistant Director of Food & Beverage is strongly preferred, ideally within a high-volume, service-focused operation.
      • Previous experience managing and working with third party chef collaboration highly preferred.
      • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple outlets, including fine dining, bars, in-room dining, banquets, and beach/poolside operations.
      • Proven success in driving guest satisfaction, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring operational excellence.
      • Passion for creativity and innovation, with the ability to anticipate and implement emerging food and beverage trends that resonate with a luxury audience.
      • Strong culinary sensibility and close collaboration with the Executive Chef on concept development, seasonal offerings, and elevated service delivery.
      • International experience preferred; ability to lead and inspire a diverse team and engage a global clientele with cultural awareness.
      • Expertise in labor management, cost control, inventory systems, and health and safety compliance.
      • Committed to talent development, succession planning, and fostering a high-performance culture within the division.
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be a collaborative leader, comfortable interacting with guests, cross-functional teams, ownership, and vendors.
      • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
      • A visible and engaged leader with strong on-the-floor presence during key services and events.
