      Overview

      Director of Housekeeping

      The responsibility of the Director of Housekeeping is to ensure the efficient operations of the Housekeeping Department. The Director of Housekeeping must provide all guests with quality service and a clean and safe environment throughout their stay, while efficiently managing expenses and maximizing service levels.


      Responsibilities

      • Oversee management of housekeeping and laundry department
      • Ensure that company and department standards, regulatory compliance, budget, and fiscal guidelines are being met
      • Assist with interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and payroll for all Members within the department
      • Prepare annual budgets and operational forecasts, business reviews, and/or profit and loss meetings
      • Maintain a thorough knowledge of products, including room types, amenities, services, and brand standards
      • Coordinate and collaborate with other departments’ leaders; Maintain close communications with Front Desk, VIP, Butler, and Facility Departments

      Qualifications

      • At least two years of experience in a hotel or related field
      • Bachelor’s degree
      • Supervisory experience required
      • Professional appearance and demeanor
      • Efficient communication skills

      USD $55,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
