- Supporting the HSES/UGI (Companies) GM’s and Directors responsible for overall sales performance.
- Dotted Line support to 25+ Comfort Advisors within the Company. Will work through local GMs/Sales Managers to influence, train, and develop Comfort Advisors. Will lead initiatives across the Company including financing, leasing, sales training, sales processes, and utilization of the systems available, including Salesforce.
- Support the use of technology and metrics for developing performance of CSR’s and will help influence booking rates favorably across the Company.
- Support and drive relationships with distribution partners and supply houses.
- Strong interaction with Marketing and other functions within the organization to leverage full scope of organizational capabilities to deliver an outstanding sales and installation experience to customers.
- Active participation and joint ownership of new product development and roadmap/portfolio discussions to provide customer/industry perspective and voice of sales to organization. A major new initiative will be to lead the development and introduction of the HomeServe Advantage Leasing Program.
- Facilitates training and ensures support resources are in place to develop Comfort Advisors capable of selling the full scope of offerings available.
- Builds and fosters a team environment within and across the Company. Solicits support from and communicates effectively with internal staff.
- Own sales and installation performance metrics and dashboards for monthly operating review.
- Drive increased proficiency with HVAC applications/ tools across the sales teams.
- Through the deployment of an effective management systems, drive accountability with the GM’s regarding sales & installation results.
- Development and execution of multi-year sales strategy to meet business objectives.
- Ensuring sales & install model implementation with clear roles & responsibilities throughout the Company.
- Highly engaged leadership role in business reviews, cross functional meetings to drive business objectives, e.g., monthly operating reviews, sales & operations planning, etc.
- Understanding of how market dynamics and industry trends may affect business needs.
- Key contributor to annual financial plan and 5-year strategic planning process.
- With GM’s/Directors, manages the sales staffing plan for each of the Company locations. Work with HR and Talent Acquisition team to recruit, hire, and retain sales and sales support staff to plan.
- Manage annual sales quota process, aligned with business operating plans.
- Revenue Performance: Support GM’s/ Directors in delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual revenues by depot.
- Drive process excellence and productivity across the Company depots.
- Determine key performance indicators for HVAC sales & installation processes to drive process improvement.
- Drive pipeline management and forecasting support.
- Five to eight years of progressive sales and operational leadership experience in HVAC business, or similar site-delivered home service.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in experience.
- Experience deploying strong sales operations capabilities and installation strategies across an HVAC organization.
- Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to influence peers and team members outside reporting line.
- Strong planning, problem solving, project management, negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Highly organized and process focused, able to clearly prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects and implement sustainable processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present, influence and manage stakeholder interests at all levels of management and staff across the Company depots.
- Experience in using CRM tools and managing sales processes using CRM tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel & PowerPoint.
- The job requires up to 60% travel.
