      Directs and oversees all Kaweah Health grants and fundraising programs.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      Education
      Preferred:

      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in field of Foundation/Philanthropy.

      Experience
      Required:

      Five years of fundraising and staff management experience.

      JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
      Fundraising: Raise funds from philanthropic donations to help Kaweah Health meet the healthcare needs of the community and bridge the gap between available resources and financial needs.

      Leadership: Serve as Director of the Kaweah Health Foundation and the Kaweah Hospice Foundation.
      Campaign Oversight: Plan and oversee successful capital campaigns and a variety of charitable events throughout the year.

      Employee Giving Program: Manage the Employee Giving Program and work with Kaweah staff to gain insights into the needs of Kaweah Health. Work with assigned employee giving staff to acknowledge donors, keep donors informed and inspired.

      Community Collaboration: Collaborate and supervise grassroots fundraising efforts sponsored by community members and businesses.

      Staff Supervision: Oversee, supervise, and assign job duties to the Foundation staff based on strengths. Maintain open communication, group dialogue and perform annual reviews. Disseminate information from leadership to staff as appropriate.

      Donor Recognition: Maintain an ongoing program to recognize individuals who donate to Kaweah Health, including appropriate acknowledgments, naming opportunities, and special recognition events.

      Financial Coordination: Coordinate with the Director of Finance to ensure funds received are identified by donor intent and proper controls are in place to prudently invest and safeguard the funds. Work with Foundation Coordinator to ensure all reimbursements follow Foundation protocol and policies.

      Relationship Building: Build relationships with board members and organizational leaders in the community to increase awareness of the Foundation.

      Grant Funding: Work closely with grant writing staff and Kaweah leadership to pursue grant funding opportunities with state, federal, and private foundations to fund new health initiatives and improve health outcomes for Kaweah Health patients.

      Departmental Coordination: Coordinate grant efforts with directors of all departments and work cooperatively with all Kaweah departments to promote a team environment.

      Community Engagement: Serve as an ambassador for Kaweah Health throughout the service area, seeking to positively influence the community’s perception of Kaweah Health. Inform leadership of patient satisfaction or dissatisfaction with Kaweah Care.

      $58.76 -$88.14
