      Salary Range: $135,000 - $192,000

      What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

      • Maintain responsibility for overseeing all areas of the production process at the plant location, ensuring that products are manufactured on time and according to cost and quality standards.
      • Take the lead role in managing and improving the overall production process for the plant, including: cost, quality, and culture outcomes for the location.
      • Develop the manufacturing plan for the plant and ensure that the plan is optimized to reach all established goals.
      • Initiate, coordinate, and oversee all major projects within the plant.
      • With the help of the production manager, lead and direct the production supervisors to accomplish their team’s goals within the overall manufacturing plan.
      • Maintain primary responsibility for hiring, training, and developing staff.
      • Mediate and resolve conflicts within the plant staff.
      • Establish and enforce policies and procedures for maintaining the highest levels of safety, manufacturing excellence, and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
      • Consult with production supervisors and upper management to identify production inefficiencies and implement plans for their correction.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications

      What You’ll Need (Qualifications):

      • 8 years of related experience or training with 4 years of management experience.
      • Skills in developing, communicating and maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with and among employees.
      • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and all levels of management
      • Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a practical, methodical way while preserving sense of urgency
      • Solid computer skills, to include data entry, Excel, and Word
      • Labor relations experience is strongly preferred.
