Lead and manage the operations of the Medical-Surgical unit, ensuring high standards of nursing care and patient satisfaction.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care programs and quality initiatives.
Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
Develop and manage departmental budgets, including labor, supplies, and equipment.
Recruit, retain, and mentor nursing staff; provide leadership through coaching, performance evaluations, and development planning.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix to meet patient care needs.
Participate in hospital committees and contribute to hospital-wide policy development and quality improvement initiatives.
Analyze data to drive performance improvements and optimize patient outcomes.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a Med Surg environment, with at least 1 year in a nursing leadership role.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage change, resolve conflicts, and promote team building.

The Director will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and staff development. This leadership role will play a critical part in achieving the hospital's strategic objectives and maintaining a culture of excellence in clinical care and safety.
