Description
The Director, Provider Medicaid Operations provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments. The role requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across provider operational department(s) from the perspective of Medicaid. Decisions are typically related to intradepartmental coordination, development and implementation of strategic plans, and business outcomes, and develops and implements strategic plans for the scope of management that are aligned with the Segment or Business strategy.Responsibilities
The Director, Provider Medicaid Operations oversees, leads, and coordinates the execution of strategic and operational initiatives. These initiatives are highly complex and involve creation and oversight of multifaceted teams. The role brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans. The Director will serve as a liaison to cross-functional groups across the entire company with a focus on working with teams, strong analytics, and information synthesis while applying critical thinking to these initiatives. The role will help breakthrough any roadblocks, resolve issues and escalate where needed. The Director will lead highly specialized professional associates.

Work at Home Connectivity Requirements
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)
Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$153,500 - $211,175 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
