      Director of Online and Graduate Recruitment

      Position Overview

      The University of Olivet seeks a dynamic leader to oversee recruitment for its online undergraduate and graduate programs. The Director of Online and Graduate Recruitment is responsible for developing and executing strategic enrollment plans to meet ambitious online and graduate student targets. This role uses data-driven insights and the Slate CRM platform to optimize recruitment funnels and ensure a high-touch, engaging experience for prospective students. The Director works closely with academic deans, marketing, and enrollment leadership to align recruitment strategies with program offerings and institutional goals, and leads a dedicated team of recruitment professionals to drive results.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies for online undergraduate and graduate programs to achieve enrollment goals.
      • CRM Management: Leverage Technolutions Slate CRM to track prospective student engagement, manage recruitment workflows, and improve conversion rates.
      • Data Analysis: Analyze recruitment data and market trends to inform decision-making and continuously refine outreach tactics.
      • Communications Oversight: Oversee communication plans and campaigns (email, social media, info sessions) to ensure timely, consistent, and persuasive messaging to prospects.
      • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the recruitment budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI on recruitment initiatives.
      • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the recruitment team, setting performance goals and fostering professional development.
      • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with academic deans and enrollment management leaders to align recruitment efforts with program capacities and institutional objectives.
      • Marketing Coordination: Provide input to marketing and communications teams on advertising and content strategies to attract online and graduate student audiences.
      • Recruitment Events & Travel: Represent the university at virtual and in-person recruitment events, which will require travel and occasional evening or weekend hours.

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in education, marketing, business or a related field.
      • 5+ years of progressive experience in student recruitment/admissions, including leadership of recruitment teams.
      • Demonstrated success in developing strategic recruitment plans and meeting enrollment targets.
      • Proficiency with CRM systems (especially Technolutions Slate) and data analysis tools.
      • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
      • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
      • Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
      • Experience specifically with online program recruitment or graduate student admissions.
      • Familiarity with marketing techniques or partnerships that enhance recruitment outcomes.
      • Knowledge of current trends in online education and adult learner enrollment.
      • Experience managing budgets and using data-driven approaches for continuous improvement.
