      ROLE SUMMARY

      T he Director of Operations Excellence will lead CPY’s strategic efforts in key areas of operations, including yoga, communications, process, and new studio openings. You will design, develop, document, and communicat e our operating standards , best practices , franchise standards, and company information to all team members . This role will engage cross-functionally with all department to ensure processes are optimally designed and communications are thoughtfully planned and implemented . The Director of Operations Excellence will also serve as an advisor to the COO and Senior Operations leaders , communicating feedback and qualitative data from the field, and will participate in operational strategic planning.

      KEY RESULT AREAS

      Define, Develop and Document Core Processes

      • Oversee process documentation efforts: identifying cross-departmental impacts and optimizing processes for efficiency and efficacy
      • Challenge the status quo and actively seek out opportunities to streamline process and clarify ownership and accountability
      • Solicit input and feedback across the organization and franchise partners to identify and share best practices

      Strategic Communication Planning & Execution

      • Define and develop a strategic communications program that thoughtfully and consistently ensures every team member receives information appropriate to their job duties in a timely manner
      • Balance and reinforce cascading and direct-to-team-member communications to ensure consistency of communications and reinforcement of messaging .
      • Design and maintain a company intranet or portal that provides timely , relevant, secure, and mobile-accessible access to information based on job role
      • Lead development and updates of the Operations Manual and Franchise Operations Manual and supporting tools and systems
      • Manage communication s ystems for the field
      • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment of operations considerations and comms strategy
      • Manage franchise communications program and support

      New Studio Openings Process

      • Oversee cross functional efforts and timeline to ensure studios open with excellence
      • Collaborate with Real E state and Construction to ensure operations strategy and execution are considered in the development process
      • Provide on ground support week of open through NSO Manager, lead that role and function

      Yoga Operations

      • Oversee yoga programming, including organization + operations of teacher training program
      • Strategize initiatives that increase teacher recruitment, including structure for auditions and intensive programs
      • Collaborate with field leaders and cross functional partners on process and content upgrades needed for yoga programming and teacher development.
      • Lead the central team that delivers content, training, organization and administration to the field teams for success of all yoga operations

      EDUCATION, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

      • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in an operations or communications role with a multi-unit concep t , franchise experience preferred
      • Bachelor’s degree
      • 6 + year’s experience in a senior multi-unit leadership role; both field-based and head office based leadership experience required
      • Proven ability to identify initiatives that generate revenue and improve profitability
      • C reative thinker and problem-solver, with ability to toggle between the big picture and the details
      • Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniorit y
      • Ability to identify lead measures that move the needle and focus a team’s energy on driving lead measures
      • Ability to develop and execute operations plans including developing budgets, goals, metrics, strategy, and tactics
      • Ability to effectively lead internal and external meetings
      • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines
      • E xcellent problem solving skills; ability to effectively collect, analyze, organize, distill and present information.
      • Excellent negotiation skills, able to build consensus and find creative solutions
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills

      COMPENSATION

      • Annual salary $ 115 , 000 - 130,000 based on experience
      • Up to 20% bonus potential
