      This position is responsible for assigned men’s basketball support operations including travel and specified programmatic structure (liaison to assigned support areas). This position will work closely with the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Athletics Administration to maximize resources in an effort to ensure athletic success and student-athlete development.

      Duties and Responsibilities
      1. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the men’s basketball office
      2. Responsible for providing the necessary resources for the men’s basketball coaching staff to focus predominately on recruiting and coaching
      3. Responsible for coordinating assigned liaison positions with strength and conditioning, sports medicine, equipment, video, dining services, student services, compliance, communications, student-athlete development, ticket office, NCC, business office, and all other related departments that effect men’s basketball
      4. Oversee assigned aspects of the summer camp
      5. Works directly with the compliance office to ensure that the men’s basketball program adheres to NCAA and SEC regulations
      6. Assist Student-Athlete Development office on summer programming for men’s basketball student-athletes
      7. Oversees and direct all aspects of team travel
      8. Represent the men’s basketball program and the Vanderbilt Athletics Department in a professional manner
      9. Complete all other tasks as assigned by the head coach and/or athletic administration

      Qualifications

      • A Bachelor’s degree is necessary.
      • Prior experience in an Operations role within a Division I athletics department is preferred.
