      The Director of Operations provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all aspects of the daily functioning of the Urgency Room acute care clinics. This role acts as a liaison between executive leadership, clinical and non-clinical staff, physicians, and external partners. The Director ensures consistent service delivery, operational efficiency, and high-quality patient care aligned with organizational goals. The role also serves as a community representative and leads initiatives to strengthen the organization’s public presence. The Director is accountable for regulatory compliance, operational performance, budget management, and continuous quality improvement. The pay range for this position is $120,000 - $190,000 per year.

      Education and Experience:

      • Master’s Degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
      • 3+ years’ experience in multi-site clinic operations or acute care settings
      • 3+ years’ of proven supervisory and team leadership experience

      Responsibilities

      • Develop and implement strategic operational plans that support organizational growth and long-term objectives
      • Participate in senior leadership planning; contributes to new service line development and expansion projects
      • Manage and optimize clinical and business operations across all Urgency Room (UR) sites
      • Ensure consistent workflows, process efficiency, and standardization across sites
      • Oversee facility operations, equipment maintenance, supply chain management, and technology utilization
      • Lead workforce planning and collaborate with recruitment for staffing, retention, and succession strategies
      • Provide mentorship and professional development for direct reports and clinical teams
      • Oversee external vendor and contractor relationships
      • Collaborate with the COO and VP of Finance on annual budgets, financial planning, and revenue cycle management optimization
      • Ensures adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations including ACR, COLA, CLIA, OSHA, and the MN Dept. of Health
