      Position Overview
      Grunt Style is seeking a strategic, innovation-driven Director of Paid Media to own and elevate our paid advertising across digital and offline channels. You will architect full-funnel, data-backed media strategies that accelerate customer acquisition, boost retention, and deepen brand loyalty. The ideal candidate combines deep omni-channel retail expertise with a performance-first mindset and a passion for testing disruptive marketing tactics.

      Key Responsibilities


      1. Strategy & Planning

      • Develop annual, full-funnel paid media plans spanning search, social, display, programmatic, video, affiliate and offline channels (e.g., out-of-home, radio)
      • Translate business objectives into clear channel roadmaps, audience segmentation, and creative test calendars
      • Produce concise, actionable campaign briefs detailing objectives, target segments, messaging, and success metrics

      2. Attribution, Optimization & Innovation

      • Design and implement multi-touch attribution frameworks to quantify each channel’s impact on acquisition, retention, and customer lifetime value
      • Continuously refine bids, budgets and creative assets through A/B and multivariate testing
      • Pilot emerging channels (e.g., programmatic CTV, influencer performance media) to drive incremental lift

      3. Budget & Performance Management

      • Own and allocate a multi-million-dollar media budget to maximize ROI against KPIs (CAC, ROAS, LTV:CAC, AOV)
      • Forecast spend pacing and deliver weekly/monthly performance reporting to stakeholders
      • Measure incremental impact of paid campaigns on subscription enrollments, loyalty engagement, and repeat purchase behavior

      4. Leadership, Collaboration & Partnerships

      • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of paid media specialists; set clear goals and foster a culture of continuous learning
      • Collaborate closely with Analytics, eCommerce, CRM, Product, Creative and Content teams to align on data sources, reporting, and customer journeys
      • Manage relationships with agencies, ad tech providers, and media vendors; negotiate contracts and SLAs
      • Build executive dashboards and present monthly insights and strategic recommendations to leadership
      • Identify and share best practices, emerging trends, and competitive benchmarks

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
      • 7+ years of paid media or performance marketing experience, including 3+ years leading teams
      • Proven success managing large digital and offline media budgets in an omni-channel retail environment (apparel or lifestyle preferred)
      • Deep familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads, affiliate networks, and OOH/radio buy processes
      • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in attribution modeling, Google Analytics (GA4), Triple Whale or similar platforms
      • Proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
      • Excellent communicator with demonstrated ability to craft compelling briefs and present data-driven insights
      • Collaborative leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and embraces rapid testing and iteration
