      JOB TITLE: Director of Revenue Operations, Merchant Services
      LOCATIONS: London / Bristol / Basildon
      HOURS: Full-time
      WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

      Merchant Services provides a diverse range of products and services to merchants from micro merchants to enterprise customers that want to accept payments via a mixture of channels including face to face, online and over the phone.

      About This Opportunity
      We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Revenue Operations to drive revenue growth, streamline sales operations, systems and tooling and deliver a step change sales team performance.

      Reporting into the Head of Pricing and Commercial, you'll be tasked with building and leading a sales operations team at a critical time when the business is undergoing a rapid period of sales- driven growth.

      You'll be at the forefront of our efforts to move from an inbound sales model to an outbound sales model through the implementation of lead generation strategies, tooling and outbound sales motions. You'll implement key sales enablers across the team including real time MI, commission structures and individual quotas down to product level. You'll spearhead our move from acquiring led sales to software sales through implementing continuous team onboarding and training initiatives.

      What you'll be doing:

      • Develop the sales operations strategy, you’ll look at the landscape, the opportunities and potential impacts and build a strategy that delivers the biggest impacts to the Merchant Services business.

      • Process creation & optimisation, we’re just getting started and there’s a sea of processes to be created, optimised and improved. You’ll be right on the pulse of how we operate and what the team need to do. CRM, sales process, commissions, infrastructure, forecasting pipeline etc.

      • Own sales training & tooling, implement and create a training and upskilling plan for our sales team. Devise and give them the right tools to achieve success by driving income growth.

      • Blocker Removal & Enablement, you’ll analyse our business and actively work projects to enable better performance and remove blockers and obstacles holding us back.

      • Build a lead generation machine, you'll build a robust lead generation process, using your team, you’ll ensure our sales teams are fully stocked with high quality opportunities to close.

      • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a successful team across revenue operations, finance, Salesforce administration, and marketing ops. Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.

      • Customer management, work with sales leaders and sales teams to manage change and initiatives, delivering our growth strategy.

      • Performance reporting & planning, you’ll work with data teams to report performance, assist in planning and assessment of opportunities.

      What You’ll Need

      • Significant Sales Operations experience, in particular leading sales operations teams.

      • Ideally you'll have experience in payments (gateway/merchant acquiring) or otherwise a high growth environment.

      • Experience of developing and implementing revenue operations strategies that drive growth and profitability, with a focus on international expansion.

      • You have a deep understanding of scaling sales operations functions across multiple markets in a hyper-growth / start-up environment.

      • Strong analytical skills, creating and managing revenue reporting dashboards and company wide performance indicators.

      • Experience with CRMs and data analytics tools (e.g. Salesforce)

      • Strong leadership skills and experience managing and building successful teams.

      • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

      • Proactive at identifying data-driven approaches that inform business decisions.

      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and with senior leadership.
