As the Director of Sales and Marketing at Embassy Suites by Hilton Milpitas Silicon Valley, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans to enhance guest service and financial performance.

Hilton's Commercial Services organization includes sales, revenue management, marketing, catering, events, call centers, and analytics, all vital for driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute the hotel's Annual Multi-Year Commercial Strategy Plan in collaboration with on-site leaders and regional support.
2. Align hotel performance needs with Hilton enterprise solutions across key segments.
3. Manage revenue streams including group, banquets, catering, business transient, and leisure transient.
4. Ensure pricing strategies and revenue forecasts are optimized to maximize revenue and market share.
5. Support digital marketing, social media, PR, and online content accuracy and effectiveness.
6. Establish optimal business mix and review revenue strategies regularly.
7. Collaborate with other executives to meet profit targets and develop departmental budgets.
8. Maintain knowledge of market activity and competitors.
9. Oversee the execution of the Sales Incentive Program (SIP).

Leadership

• Lead regular sales and marketing performance reviews and translate outcomes into strategic actions.
• Ensure brand standards and corporate identity are upheld.
• Recruit, develop, and retain sales and marketing team members, conducting performance reviews and fostering a culture aligned with Hilton's DEI and ESG goals.

Stakeholder Relations

• Report on hotel performance and strategies to partners and ownership groups.
• Build strong relationships with external partners like CVBs, community influencers, and travel agents.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel sales, catering, or marketing, with leadership management skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and critical analysis.
• Preferred: a four-year college degree or equivalent experience, multiple brand experience.
