- Maintaining all funds and collaborating with budget managers to ensure all state and university guidelines are followed
- Collaborating with university and college advancement to identify and promote fundraising efforts and resource allocation
- Supporting innovative program development and implementation across all programs within the school
- Preparing reports related to accomplishments across school programs and centers

Position Summary:
The Phyllis and Harvey Sandler School of Social Work at Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Director of the School of Social Work to begin January 2024 on the Boca Raton campus. The Director will be visionary and innovative about the School’s strategic goals and will be dedicated to preparing social work professionals committed to generalist and clinical practice, social justice, and improving the lives of vulnerable and at-risk populations. The Director will oversee all programming in the Sandler School of Social Work and provide direct supervision to all social work faculty and staff. This position is a full-time, 12-month appointment and may include other duties, including campus activities, as assigned. A current rank of Professor is preferred.

• PhD in Social Work, DSW, or earned doctorate in a closely related field
• MSW from an accredited school of social work, and a minimum of two years post-MSW practice experience
• Experience in social work practice, teaching, research, and administration.
