Job Description
- Req#: 2157
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
- Pennsylvania administrative certification (e.g., Principal or Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction certification).
- Minimum of five years of experience in education, with expertise in curriculum development, federal programs, and assessment coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and utilize student performance data for decision-making.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A demonstrated ability to achieve high academic performance and foster academic equity.
- Visionary instructional leadership skills that inspire excellence and innovation.
- Expertise in the development and implementation of curriculum aligned with educational standards.
- Strong knowledge of educational and technological best practices.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven success in engaging with and involving the community to enhance educational outcomes.

Job Title: Director of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment
Reports To: Superintendent
Available: May 2025
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Exempt, Cabinet-Level Contracted Employee, 12-Month work Year.

The Director of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment will provide leadership and coordination for the district’s instructional programs, assessment processes, and federal programs to support student achievement while ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.

The Pennridge School District has approximately 7,200 students and a faculty of 500 in seven elementary schools, three middle schools and one high school.
