About the position
Are you an operational leader and expert within automotive or industrial segments? Have you managed factories and taken them to the next level of performance? We are looking for someone who wants to challenge and to make a difference!
Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Business Area Flow Control Systems you will lead our European manufacturing and assembly operations with plants in Norway, Spain, France, UK and Poland. You have the responsibility to lead and optimize operational activities across multiple plants to achieve business objectives and drive profitability. Provide strategic leadership to plant leaders and functional leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
This position can be located in any of our European plants: Brześć/Poland, Cluses/France, Épila/Spain, Normanton/UK, Raufoss/Norway.
Responsibilities
You will collaborate with global and multi-cultural teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of operational initiatives. You are responsible for overseeing OEM or Tier 1 customer interactions, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. You will develop and implement operational strategies to adapt and set up operational organizations to optimize business performance, including transferring business to best-cost countries. Furthermore, you need to ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements across all plants and operational functions.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations with a proven track record in leading multiple plants with turnovers exceeding €150 million. The successful candidate will have over 10 years of experience in plant manager roles within the automotive industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills in managing both plant leaders and functional leaders. Experience in global and multi-cultural team environments is essential, as well as a minimum of 5 years of exposure to OEM or Tier 1 customer interactions.
