      Job Title: Director Packaging - Design and Serialization

      Introduction to role:

      Are you ready to make a significant impact on patients' lives? As the Director of Packaging Design and Serialization, you will be responsible for the packaging group within our biologics Global Technical Operations (GTO). Your role will encompass the planning, design, and qualification of packaging materials, as well as all aspects of their manufacture and use in the manufacture, storage, and transport of the final drug product. You will also devise and implement business processes for global traceability, serialization, security, and regulatory launch strategies.

      Accountabilities:

      Your role will involve leading the packaging group within biologics GTO to achieve best in class, optimized packaging. You will define, optimize, and codify business processes, forecast resources, and create a culture of leadership, creativity, and collaboration. You will also plan, design, and qualify packaging materials in accordance with business needs and laws/regulations. Additionally, you will devise and implement business processes for global traceability/serialization, security, and regulatory strategy for launches.

      Essential Skills/Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
      • Minimum of ten years of significant engineering or operational experience.
      • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
      • Strong interpersonal, organizational, collaboration and communication skills.
      • Demonstrated ability to progress a packaging project from inception to commercialization.
      • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), packaging laws, regulations, and guidance.
      • Experience leading a project with cross-functional internal and external teams.

      Desirable Skills/Experience:

      • -Master’s degree is preferred.
      • Technical expertise in design and serialization.
