What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee all aspects of the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing for all employees
- Manage and supervise the payroll team to ensure efficient operation of the payroll department
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations
- Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in payroll processing and administration
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems such as ADP
- Strong leadership and management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
