Drive and build from the ground up the Corporate Physical security program for FICO and create a security-aware ness culture .
Work with internal stakeholders to understand the physical security risks at FICO and build effective, prioritized programs to mitigate these risks within assigned budget.
Evaluate security issues at office locations and recommend, d esign, and implement effective security solutions for new and existing office locations.
Proactively identify , develop, and implement additional security strategies to meet the unique needs of FICO business and p erform various security inspections and audits as required .
Conduct formal Threat and Vulnerability Assessments (TVAs) on FICO facilities globally; identify vulnerabilities and gaps in physical security posture; develop prioritized recommendations to mitigate risk; provide justification and support for recommended investment in additional physical security measures.
Deliver physical security training and awareness programs to include Armed Aggressor Response Training & Workplace Violence Prevention training, and other physical security topics as required and Investigate physical security incidents.
Support HR and Workplace Violence Situational Assessment Team in the investigation of any concerning behavior, threats, or inappropriate communications that may indicate an elevated risk of workplace violence.
Manage administrative tasks and drive efficiencies to create a financially sustainable security practice.
Consult and make recommendations on the physical security systems and controls, including camera systems, badge access systems, visitor control systems, etc.
Consult on best practices for administering access requests with HR and site management.
Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and regional first responders.
Assist site security leaders in developing the emergency response plan for a range of security incidents at the site; may serve as an additional point of contact in an emergency or critical circumstance.
Assist in the creation, standardization, and implementation of policies and procedures to support global security programs . Implement these policies and procedures at facilities in assigned region. Adapt implementation as appropriate to accommodate the diversity of II-VI facilities including wide range of size, headcount, perceived and actual threats, and government regulations, but always staying within the overarching requirements of the corporate policies and procedures.
Collect and analyze appropriate metrics to measure aspects of Physical Security performance.
Mentor other internal security team members.
Ambitious and highly motivated individual who can work without direct oversight to meet the objectives of the position .
Prior experience creating and developing a Corporate Physical security program from the ground up.
Possess attention to detail and ability to effectively manage several concurrent issues.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) .
Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multi-task, be highly organized, with excellent time management skills .
Knowledge of security systems, including intrusion detection (burglar alarms), access control, video surveillance advanced required.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and online web-based services.
Strong verbal, written communication, and persuasion skills.
Prior experience in any combination of military service, law enforcement, and corporate security.
Experienced instructor across a wide range of security topics and skilled in investigative techniques.
Must be able to respond on short notice to assist on any domestic or international security incident if required . Security incidents can occur any time, any day, anywhere in the world.
Occasional late nights or weekends as necessary to conduct assessment of threats and security posture of FICO Offices across full 24-hour spectrum of potential threats.
Travel - 25% both domestically and internationally.

The targeted base pay range for this role is: $151,000 to $237,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.

The Opportunity
“As a Director of Physical Security you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the physical security function for FICO and will be responsible for developing, documenting, and implementing all aspects of a comprehensive physical security program including physical security technologies, risk assessment and remediation, Regulatory & Accreditation (CMS and TJC), threat management, emergency preparedness, emergency response, life safety, guard force operation, Federal interagency and local law enforcement liaison, visitor management, budget responsibilities, training, drills, etc. for FICO corporate Offices and Data Centers.” - Cyber Security-VP
