      Guest Engagement Product (GEP) is comprised of 3 Product Portfolios – Guest Data Platform, Loyalty, & Guest Messaging Platform – that through the use of data, personalization and the Target Circle Loyalty program, enable relevant and connected experiences that make shopping easy and fun for our guests.

      As a Director of Products Operations - GEP, you will be accountable for the strategic alignment and portfolio health of the GEP product portfolio. You will curate product portfolio level dialogue and content that engages our peers, partners, and stakeholders in how product teams are focused on delivering value for the business. You will also be responsible for developing the tools, routines and best methods aligned with enterprise product ops standards. You will facilitate tools, routines, and continuing education for product managers, product groups, and stakeholders that connect our outcomes to business goals and draw connections between problems, teams, and measured results.

      Your core responsibilities include:

      • Visualizing product intentions with a clear connection to business strategy

      • Developing objectives or frameworks to assess the value of strategic initiatives, assess against our current investment, and right-size our product portfolios proactively

      • Collaborating across product, business, and analytics to develop portfolio health metrics

      • Developing the communication framework for the total product organization and information radiation across the enterprise

      • Driving cross-portfolio and cross functional collaboration

      • Developing a strategy for learning and development

      • Creating/connecting to trainings and programs that upskill our teams

      • Creating/connecting to standard tools, practices, and playbooks

      • Act as steward of enterprise standards and connecting broadly across the product community to evolve our product management culture collectively

      About you:

      • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

      • 10+ years of experience across product, operations, or analytics (or a combination)

      • Expert at working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)

      • Strategic mindset and bias for action with strong ability for strategic planning, defining OKRs and driving business outcomes

      • Ability to lead and influence a team while fostering relationships across multiple enterprise-wide teams

      • Strong communication skills and proven ability to influence both at a strategic leadership level and cross functionally

      • Ability to influence peers, partners, and senior leaders to find common ground, push for consistency where possible and navigate competing interests. With the ability to effectively facilitate cross-functional conversations.

      • Change management experience and competency

      • Curiosity and passion for problem solving

      • Experience creating and delivering product tools & stakeholder materials
