      Job Overview

      The Director of Program Management is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of significant programs for DDN’s AI / hyperscale customers and ecosystem partners. This role ensures successful collaboration between internal teams to work towards successful launch of new products. Specifically, this leader will drive responsiveness and accountability through execution excellence. It requires leading a group of highly experienced program managers and influencing a broad set of stakeholders across various functions, including: project management, product management, sales, engineering, and operations, to drive customer-focused outcomes.

      Key Responsibilites:

      Strategic Program Leadership:
      • Develop and execute a comprehensive program management strategy tailored to the needs of the AI market.
      • Establish and maintain strong relationships with hyperscale customers and ecosystem partners via sales, product managers and customer program managers, to drive flawless NPI launches.
      • Set overall direction for the execution of major customer programs.
      • Where needed, manage conflicting priorities across projects and programs to optimize & maintain critical path.

      Program Execution & Delivery:
      • Define, build and staff the Program Management function within our business, in partnership with all key related functions, including Project Management, CPM, etc.
      • Oversee Program Managers who:

      - Coordinate cross-functional teams (project management, engineering, product management, operations, sales, and customer program management) to deliver on customer commitments and program milestones.

      - Manage program pipeline, schedules, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.

      • Coordinate with key business partners in both Project Management and Project Engineering, to drive flawless end to end new product development execution.
      • Coordinate with central PMO for tools, process, policy and procedure.
      • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and customer experience.

      Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration:
      • Directly oversee all Program Managers, who in-turn, coordinate individual project managers and related projects.
      • Work closely with sales, product management, engineering and manufacturing teams to align key AI / hyperscale programs with overall company goals.
      • Act as a liaison between customer program management, sales and internal teams to advocate for customer needs and influence direction.
      • Develop and refine operational processes to scale customer programs effectively.
      • Identify resource gaps and work with the functional owners to address.

      • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing program management team.
      • Develop a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
      • Provide guidance and career development opportunities for team members.

      What your background should look like:

      • 12+ years of experience spanning program management, customer program management, technical or engineering program management, strategic program management, and other related roles.
      • Deep understanding and experience with AI / hyperscale / silicon ecosystems, interconnect industry, with exposure to manufacturing operations.
      • Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
      • Proven ability to operate via influence.
      • Strong leadership, communication, and executive relationship management skills.
      • Experience working in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams.
      • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
      • PMP, PgMP cert or equivalent
      • Experience at driving risk mitigation and using risk tracking tools to improve overall business performance and gaining business unit acceptance of risk mitigation tools and methodologies
      • Technically proficient: advanced competence in understanding full end-to-end aspects of Engineering strategy, operations, project and portfolio management and product development lifecycle
      • Deep knowledge of project scheduling including the use of Gantt charts, managing the critical path and schedule compressing techniques

      COMPENSATION
      • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $176,700 –265,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
      • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
      • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
