What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead a team of quality professionals across multiple sites to achieve corporate quality objectives and ensure ongoing compliance and sustainability of the Quality Management System
- Develop a solid quality organization across the organization with a focus on 'zero defects' and improving the customer experience
- Remain current with new regulations, best practices, and standards including cGMP, DEA, ATF, and ISO requirements
- Establish key metrics and drivers of success, proactively identifying areas for improvement to avoid QMS shortfalls
- Develop a robust training program to keep quality top of mind, educate new associates, and maintain proficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7 years of demonstrated experience working within one or more globally recognized Quality Management System industries
- Prior experience in managing Quality Management Systems registered to International Quality Standards
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable regulations such as FDA 21 CFR, DEA, and Health Canada
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in business management, Engineering, or another related field
- 7 years of experience in a leadership role managing an International Standard Quality Management System
- Working knowledge of ISO14001 / 45001, ISO20000, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and Verification and Validation processes
- Expertise in 8D problem-solving methodology, Six Sigma/LEAN Certification
- Membership within an industry-related professional body
