      PURPOSE

      The Supply Chain Control Tower & Performance Management team drives excellence in reporting & analytics capabilities to increase transparency and visibility across the entire supply chain organization. In addition, provides insights & scenario-based simulations to drive improvements.

      As a Director SCCT Reporting & Diagnostics you drive the development of analytics capability within the Supply Chain organization. You will oversee the delivery of standard reports and diagnostic analytics services for root cause analysis to answer key management questions.

      Main deliverables will be to :

      • Create standard reports and dashboards and ensure harmonization
      • Manage business requirements, user requests and support users
      • Perform (ad-hoc) diagnostics and root cause analysis through data analysis techniques
      • Manage reporting standards and user experience and upskill super users
      • Ensure that all relevant metrics are developed and reported in a format and frequency suitable to meeting business requirements and objectives
      • Contribute to creation of one version of truth, enhancing collaboration across functions

      KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

      Reporting

      • Lead the development of a defined reporting/analytics capabilities to deliver on the requirements of relevant stakeholders and partner functions.
      • Provide standard management and operational reporting packages, including requirements, design, development, and user adoption (as aligned with business) while ensuring standardization, harmonization, and scalable solutions with fast and efficient data.
      • Define and maintain reporting standards, including user experience (usability).
      • Monitor the performance of reporting platforms to ensure they meet performance and scalability requirements.
      • Drive data management improvements with relevant stakeholder to ensure utmost efficiency and securing one version of truth (data accuracy & source integrity).
      • Lead user acceptance testing and training associated with new tools and processes with relevant stakeholders and departments.
      • Support in the change management of newly developed reporting capabilities to SCM Markets and relevant stakeholders.
      • Monitor the evolution of operational changes that will directly impact data collected and identify report developments required to maintain integrity.
      • Stay updated with latest advancements, evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the SCCT capabilities and drive continuous improvement.

      Diagnostics & Consulting

      • Coordinate and supervise the application of various advanced analysis methodologies.
      • Solve business problems by delivering complex analytical projects through advanced root cause analysis, supporting operational decision making and trade-offs.
      • Manage the interdependencies between projects and ensure suitable timelines are maintained on projects and process improvements.
      • Establish and maintain a strong stakeholder network with high level of trust that facilitates action-ability of insights.

      People Management

      • Lead a team of data visualization, analytics, and user experience professionals (internal and external) to deliver valuable reports and insights and provide supportive work environment in which team members are coached, trained, and provided with career opportunities through development.
      • Ensure appropriate leadership skills are present at every level by creating a motivational and psychologically safe environment.
      • Provide team members/direct reports with clear direction and targets that are aligned with adidas, GOPS and SCM strategy and objectives.

      Vendor Management

      • Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including vendor selection and monitoring of vendor performance.

      KNOWLEDGE, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS

      • Very good people management skills
      • End-to-end mindset, big picture view of problems on hand. Able to embrace innovation, challenge the status quo and drive change
      • Good business acumen (in supply chain preferably) and customer satisfaction understanding.
      • Excellent analytical, numerical, strategic, and influencing skills
      • Proficiency in database concepts with a good working knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP) and BI Solutions / MicroStrategy / Power BI / Tableau and/or Supply Chain Control Towers
      • Strong team player with proven ability to work cross functionally to achieve goals and objectives
      • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead several projects simultaneously, with tight timelines

      QUALIFICATIONS

      1. Master’s degree supply chain management or in the areas of business administration, analytics / business intelligence, logistics, planning, information systems from an accredited college or university
      2. 10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or relevant work experience
      3. 3+ years of experience in leading a team
      4. Deep understanding of supply chain end-to-end processes and systems
      5. Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
