      Job Description

      The Director of Retail Revenue Growth Management (RGM) – Growth Channels and eCommerce is responsible for developing and implementing key RGM principles to drive better effectiveness from trade spend in Mondelez US Growth Channels and eCommerce businesses.

      How you will contribute

      The Director Retail RGM – serves as a key co-pilot, influencer and thought leader to the Growth Channels and eCommerce sales team, supporting that organization in making make decisions on how to maximize the revenue potential and bottom-line impact through pricing and promotional strategies aligned to brand and customer strategies and through optimization of trade investments.

      • This role will support customer planning, promotion optimization, pricing and assortment strategy, and trade spend transparency capabilities by effectively partnering with sales leadership to embed RGM principles such as vol/rate/mix, ROI, trade efficiency

      • Drive thought leadership and adaptation recommendations necessary to Growth Channels and eCommerce trade spend and promotional strategies by supporting the development of insights and the implementation of optimization principles across the organization

      • Evaluate historical promotional event performance and influence the design of new strategies to maximize performance results; influence successful deployment of promotion optimization insights to key user groups within Growth Channels and eCommerce

      • Engage with the customer teams to design price and promotional testing programs

      • Share best practices & scale greatest ROI promotional events for customers, channels & marketplace

      • Create processes to embed promotion optimization insights as a priority with our customers and internal stakeholders

      • Work closely with cross functional groups in ongoing analysis of current year plan - monitoring risk and opportunities for ongoing adjustment of pricing and promotional strategies and tactics to achieve plan

      • Provide ongoing promotional event analysis (decomp) to continuously improve in marketplace and assess investment and pricing effectiveness constantly

      • Functioning as a Change Agent to achieve strategic pricing goals

      What you will bring

      • Extensive, proven experience in a fast-moving consumer goods or consumer packaged goods preferred

      • Good financial understanding (trade fund management gross to net) and return on investment (ROI)

      • Future-focused mindset, curious about industry trends, digital solutions and innovation for consumers and the ability to translate opportunities into business strategies

      • Ability and agility to develop and deliver a strategic plan, measuring and monitoring results and making recommendations to achieve growth targets

      • Demonstrated experience leading and developing local and regional diverse teams

      • Able to influence stakeholders and interact effectively with senior leadership based on a deep understanding of priorities and with the courage and resilience to hold an alternative point of view

      More about this role

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar required; MBA preferred

      • 10+ years of experience, preferably in the consumer goods industry

      • Experience leading and influencing others, directly and indirectly

      • Experience developing business plans/business cases; strategic thinking

      • 3+ years of experience in sales planning, customer planning or customer facing roles highly preferred

      The anticipated base salary range for this position is $129,700 - 259,400 ; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results and is eligible to participate in the Company's annual equity program.).
