Is a leading business partner for the Brand Leadership GM and CS&E VP
Guides AOP/SP through knowledge of customer and category base
Owns revenue, volume and trade investments associated with AOP
Brings Category Leadership Platforms to life within Business Unit and in the marketplace
Develops action plans relative to opportunities/risk
Validates the monthly volume consensus in partnership with Supply Planning and the Brand Leadership Unit
Leads and develops high-performing team; able to develop Team Members, discerningly
Partners to create/review annual forecasts and delivery of trade, volume, gross margin and Innovation NSV
Consummate voice for the field, customer & internal business partners
Determines best investment alternatives via customer segmentation & revenue growth management through solid working relationships with Trade Optimization and Strategic Pricing Teams
Owns the final approval of 4Ps guidance (Pricing, Product, Placement, Promotion)
Acts as lead on cross-category initiatives for Strategy and Planning function
Interacts cross-functionally with Insights & Innovation, Brand, Project Management, Customer Management, Shopper Insights, Category Leadership, Space Planning & Assortment, Supply Chain and Finance
Communicates effectively and concisely the business solutions, opportunities and risks to senior leaders; demonstrates courageous yet constructive candor with poise to ensure a productive balance between internal and external trade-offs that produces the best outcome for TYSON
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
Minimum 10 years CPG experience in sales, customer marketing, category management and/or sales planning
Strong financial acumen, Customer Joint Growth Planning and strategic competency required
Advanced communication skills are required including the ability to articulate complexity concisely, provide context, implications and solutions to senior business leaders & demonstrate courageous yet constructive candor that creates productive tension to balance internal/external needs, yet produce the best
Successful Team leadership and development experience
Ability to partner, manage and influence large cross-functional teams & business complexity
Technical Skills: Intermediate-Advanced level for MS Excel, PowerBI, Word and PowerPoint
Direct Reports: 5-7
Travel: Some travel is required; 4-6 times annually

Job Details:
The SS&P Director is responsible for the sales activation and execution of the Business Unit's Annual Operating Plan (AOP), obtaining our distribution goals and ensuring that the customer voice is embedded in all internal decisions. They are a partner to the Brand Leadership Unit and an extension of their respective staff/team. They own delivering the associated AOP revenue, volume and trade investments. They provide input to Category Leadership Platforms, measure volume and share insights, lead the S&OP demand process for their categories and develop/activate category and brand strategies. The ideal candidate is also responsible for leading and developing a team, to deliver the various business objectives for the business. Initiating, tracking and managing trade ROI, profitability and field compliance are also critical components of this role.
