Hires, trains, motivates and monitors the performance of the Regional Truck Sales managers. Prepares and administers the annual operating budget for the entire Truck Group Sales Department. Attends and participates in monthly KPI meetings with VP and Corp Support Services while holding monthly Sales meetings with the Truck sales teams. Assist in overall growth strategy and direct new business segment projects and locations. Responsible for financial performance, Market share, OEM standards, and employee and customer satisfaction of the Truck Group Truck Sales Dept. Maintains reporting systems required by VP, Corp. Support Services, and OEMs. Forster professional employee development and coordinate with Truck Sales managers to determine employee training needs.u00A0u00A0Make customer satisfaction and market share a priority. Develop overall truck pricing strategy to maximize profits and growth for the Truck Group Sales Department. Works with Parts and Service department management teams to find ways to improve the overall profitability of the Truck Group. Serves as liaison with factory Sales Management team.u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0JOB QUALIFICATIONS: u00A0u00A0Bachelor's degree preferred or 10+ years of heavy-duty Duty Truck Sales management experience and a good knowledge and understanding of the Peterbilt and Karmak business systems. Strengths in business administration; deep understanding of the administrative aspects of sales, parts, and service; ongoing commitment to administrative accuracy, efficiency, and value-added. Knowledge of and familiarity with dealer/manufacturer relations.u00A0u00A0Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to conduct efficient and effective meetings. Willing to travel (50%) throughout Ohio Peterbiltu2019s territory regularly and outside of the territory to attend manufacturer and/or association meetings. u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: u00A0u00A0Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
