      Position Summary

      Under the general supervision of the Executive Director Player Personnel, the Director of Scouting and High School will assist with the oversight and direction of all aspects of the recruiting and scouting departments, in accordance with NCAA rules and regulations.

Actual salary offers consider factors such as budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure, certifications, and other business considerations.       Qualifications

      • Minimum of five to seven years of recruiting experience as a college coach, scout, or recruiting coordinator. (Required)
      • Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle sensitive and confidential information/material with discretion. (Required)
      • Ability to interact diplomatically with individuals of various social, economic, cultural, and educational backgrounds. (Required)
      • Superior public relations skills, including outstanding interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships and correspondence with staff, faculty, media, recruits, visiting coaches, donors, parents, and NCAA officials. (Required)
      • Ability to plan and prioritize assignments and work independently despite various deadlines, competing requirements, and changing priorities. (Required)
      • Ability to perform under stress and maintain composure in challenging situations. (Required)
      • Ability to organize and maintain a calendar system. (Required)
      • Working knowledge of contracts and demonstrated budgetary skills. (Required)
      • Working knowledge of university purchasing and accounting policies. (Preferred)
      • Proficiency in word processing and computer skills to complete assignments efficiently. (Required)
      • Ability to operate a computer with knowledge of systems including Microsoft Office, JumpForward, Teamworks, Hudl, XOs, Prep Tracker, Page Maker, VISIO, and database entry. (Required)
      • Knowledge of university policies and procedures. (Preferred)
      • Knowledge of Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. (Required)

      Special Conditions for Employment

      • Background check: Employment contingent upon satisfactory completion.
      • Live Scan background check required before employment begins.
      • This position is a mandatory reporter under CANRA. Employee must sign the "Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Child Abuse".
      • 10% travel as needed for duties and tasks.
