      YOUR IMPACT

      We are excited about our next Social Director who will lead our efforts across Organic and Influencer Marketing at Wingstop! This experienced Director will bring forward cultural insight, define the Organic and Influencer strategy and execute these to drive the Wingstop Brand. Ideal candidate will have impressive experience around Social Strategy, Ideation, Content Calendar, Organic Creative, Influencer, Community Management and Measurement. This role will work in partnership with Brand, Media, PR, Consumer Insights, Legal and other internal stakeholders. There are also 2 direct reports and a social agency to manage. As such, this is a highly collaborative and people-centric role.

      WHAT YOU'LL DO

      EXPERTISE IN ORGANIC AND INFLUENCER

      • Through a strong background in both Organic and Influencer, Director will develop the Social Strategy for Organic and Influencer, aligning with Media/Paid Social team and Brand team. Help answer the question, how do we holistically program the Social channel to engage and grow our business?
      • Based on cultural, consumer and business insights, oversee Organic content calendar considering both planned and real-time opportunities to connect with consumers. Develop ideal posting and platform schedule based on analytics and learning.
      • Oversee and develop Organic creative content across social platforms, especially but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook. Content would be in-house development, UGC, content creator or agency developed.
      • Oversee and take part in Community Management of our organic channels. This requires living the brand and embracing brand tone authentically and responsibly to engage with consumers across platforms. Monitor customer engagement and participate through listening, responding, asking questions, and engaging in conversations with various audiences when needed.
      • Lead our Influencer approach and well as Influencer Ideas. Proven track record ideating and finding success with Influencers as a marketing pillar.
      • Lead Influencer partner list and negotiation . Stay ahead of Influencer space and possible partnerships. Strong past experience identifying Influencers and negotiating and contracting with them.
      • Monitor results of social media efforts in real time, and oversee reporting and optimization. Conduct social media competitive analyses and utilize insights to refine social media activities.
      • Provide support and subject matter expertise for social media. Trends, technology, innovation, etc. Fluent or knowledgeable in key tools including Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Brandwatch, etc.

      STAY AHEAD OF CULTURE

      • Experience with young, multicultural Social online communities . You will have experience around areas of passion for our consumers: Music (especially hip hop and pop), Sports (NFL and hoops) and Lifestyle (entertainers/comedians and fashion.)
      • Stay ahead of trends and what our consumer is passionate above; share and educate rest of marketing.
      • Be able to move at the speed of culture in a fast moving and exciting culture with an agile and collaborative way of working.


      THOUGHT LEADER AND COLLABORATOR

      • Ability to develop a point of view and articulate for senior leadership at Wingstop, strong senior-level communication skills.
      • Represent the cultural zeitgeist of our guests and future guests. Bring cultural insight and learning to the organization and the marketing work at large. Inform and educate stakeholders on social strategy, activations, and industry trends.
      • Strong input and place-a-the-table to broader marketing strategy and ideation . It is a highly collaborative team and process so seek someone who can wear marketing hat in addition to social hat and is highly collaborative.
      • Provide strong people leadership for 2 direct reports and Social agency (Vayner.)

      HUMBLE : You feel there is always opportunity to further your personal and professional growth. You have a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in organic/influencer across advertising, marketing, communications.

      HUNGRY : You have ambition and drive to go above and beyond while driving best-in-class marketing at Wingstop. You deliver outstanding strategy, ideas and results time after time. You have 7+ years of leading Organic and Influencer, ideally in the restaurant industry. You are also proficient in analytics platforms (ie: Google Analytics) and MS Office.

      SMART : You have a high degree of emotional intelligence and cultural acumen, and have an exceptional ability to convey strategy and ideas to the most senior levels. With your communication skills, you can gain alignment across various stakeholders.

      • CREATIVITY: Creative energy and leadership around ideating for never-been-done-before marketing ideas, creating breakthrough social content, bringing forward cultural or social trends, and expressing or exchanging ideas with partners.

      • COMMUNITY: Continual oversight of our social communities, learning and reacting in real time. Bringing forward the needs of our followers and guests and identifying trends through that learning. Continuing to uphold Wingstop authentic brand voice and responsible approach.

      • COLLABORATION: Frequent thought leadership and collaboration with various teams and agencies through meetings and quick catch ups. Ability to wear marketing hat as well as Social hat. People-centric and great leader to direct reports and agency.
