What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of customer and internal facing software platforms
- Ensure delivery of secure, high-quality software while maintaining high standards
- Provide thought leadership in software engineering, architecture, and security
- Hire, develop, and retain strong software leaders while fostering team growth
- Analyze and act on software development metrics to improve team efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 15+ years of relevant experience in software engineering
- 10+ years of experience leading software engineering teams
- Strong expertise in software engineering, quality assurance, and security best practices
- Proven track record of migrating legacy products to public cloud environments such as AWS/Azure
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps methodologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree(s) in relevant fields
- Experience managing full-stack engineering organizations at SaaS companies
- Experience in environments subject to HIPAA and/or PCI regulations
- Experience leading an engineering department through a transformation phase
- Experience managing remote/virtual-first teams
