Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or software engineering
At least 17 + years of experience in a global corporate setting; with a minimum of 8 years at a management leadership level; with extensive technical and leadership skills
Background in full-stack development using Java, Python, JavaScript etc.
Hands-on expertise on Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP
Proven record of hiring multiple squads with the right skills, building knowledge and making them productive.
Proven technology relationship and engagement with development teams, ability to gain the respect of development teams and work alongside architects and Vice Presidents of Software Development.
Proven Agile technology leadership and delivery.
Strong organization skills with the ability to present technical decision support in a consistent and relevant manner and care for quality and accuracy.
Excellent project management skills, and a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives , with the ability to quickly problem solve and facilitate solutions.
Should have participated in organizational initiatives like skill development, talent review, rewards and recognition, risk planning etc.
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to operate independently, inspire change across functions, and deliver results.
Experience building SaaS products and microservices.
Set and execute a clear strategy, including building new development teams.
Lead and manage the delivery of products by different squads.
Work cross-functionally and form and manage strategic relationships with various product owners and stakeholders across the entire company including but not limited to Product Management, Analytics, Technology Operations, Development, Program and Quality Management and vendors.
Manage regional staff of full-time employees and contractors, with direct supervision of leaders that provide day-to-day location-specific management of teams.
Dynamically drive management and change of India technology organization.
Create a culture that is focused on execution and performance.
Foster collaboration, partnership, innovation and trust with the Product Management function, Technology leadership peers and other stakeholder teams.
Actively participate in the India Technology team initiatives.
Communicate key technology initiatives to senior management and current and potential clients and deliver high-quality product releases with adherence to release schedules and customer expectations.
In coordination with Program Management, set timelines and manage expectations for all deliverables and releases.
Actively participate in the prioritization of business and product requirements within the product development group.
Attract, develop and retain top talent to build a customer-focused technology organization and develop an environment which stimulates innovation.
Anticipate and react to major industry and technology changes to ensure continued company leadership in this competitive landscape.
Help define and manage the departmental budget for all expenditures and headcount.
Act as a mentor to facilitate career development and progression.
