      Accountabilities:

      As the Director, Statistical Programming, you will be accountable for the leadership, management and development of Programming teams and the quality of their deliverables. You will also provide significant input to the initiatives and strategies of the programming department. You will need to have strong leadership skills along with a consistent record of managing and working with and within a distributed team.

      Essential Skills/Experience:

      • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Life or Social Sciences or related field
      • Excellent Communication and Influencing skills
      • Genuine commitment to drive innovation and improve efficiency
      • Thorough knowledge of the clinical development process from development through life cycle management
      • Thorough knowledge of industry standards, trends and practices
      • Experience handling budgets and resource projections
      • Experience working on Vaccines or Infectious Disease clinical trials
      • Prior experience of leading a distributed team, responsible for training, mentoring, disciplinary and nurturing the team’s careers, amongst other line management responsibilities.

      Desirable Skills/Experience:

      • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing business processes
      • Willingness and ability to travel
      • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
