- Eight (8) years of previous experience in a combination of Business Project Program Manager, Longistics Supply Chain Operations Manager, and Materials Management Operations Manager positions.

This is an AT-WILL position and the person hired will serve at the pleasure of the Chief Executive Officer.Position Summary:Collaborates with hospital administration and leadership staff to develop the hospital in the future, by focusing on strategy and implementing strategic initiatives that position the hospital to have a sustainable, vital presence while delivering on the strategic direction. Reponsible for developing, building and implementing strategic solutions that enhance the facility. These duties include designing, developing, directing, implementing, training, and measuring all current and systems, tools, and technologies to deliver consistent support. Directs the development of business cases, project plans, and operational tools. Responsible for implementation tracking and reporting to senior leadership of the progress and results for a wide-range of projects.Education/Experience:
Equivalent to a Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a closely related field and five (5) years of management experience in the appropriate areas, such as: strategic planning, business development, service line development, healthcare operations, and or related disciplines.
Health care delivery and financing system; assessing market conditions and developing related growth initiatives in partnership with operators, physicians, payers, etc.; health care industry and hospital practices; federal, state, local and accreditation laws, standards and practices; quality management and performance improvement strategies; business practices, such as purchasing, marketing, performance measurement, etc.; principles and practices associated with managing a large complex organization; department and hospital safety practice and procedures; patient rights; age specific patient care practices; infection control policies and practices; handling, storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials; department and hospital emergency response policies and procedures.Skill in:
Strategic thinking capability; developing effective interpersonal relationships; taking idea from concept to implementation; providing leadership; making effective decisions; using data to inform complex decision-making; applying financial analysis, planning, and concepts; developing positive employee relations; negotiating; performing strategic planning and goal setting; solving problems; using computers and related software applications; communicating with a wide variety of people from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all personnel contacted in the course of duties; efficient, effective and safe use of equipment.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard office equipment, stamina to remain seated for long periods of time, vision to read printed materials and a VDT screen, and hearing and speech to communicate effectively in person and over the telephone. Strength and agility to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or an eligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
