We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Director, Sustainability within our Environmental and Sustainability team based at Greenway Plaza in Houston, Texas. This position will engage with personnel from all our business lines, including our domestic and international oil and gas operations, our chemicals segment and manufacturing sites, and our low carbon ventures subsidiaries. The Director of Sustainability position will manage a team that is key to Oxy’s sustainability efforts and is responsible for: 1. Leading strategies and processes that advance Oxy’s vision and identifying areas for sustainability enhancement; 2. Developing and implementing new initiatives that augment Oxy’s sustainability goals as well as managing existing programs; 3. Developing, analyzing, validating, and reporting of environmental, social and governance (ESG) data, metrics, goals, and opportunities for continuous improvement; 4. Monitoring industry trends and reporting and providing responses to ESG questionnaires from analysts, lenders, government agencies and ratings organizations; 5. Providing expert insight to and updating sustainability and ESG webpages and collateral materials in conjunction with Oxy’s Corporate Secretary, Investor Relations, Human Resources and Corporate Affairs functions; and, 6. Participating in ESG-related initiatives and organizations and representing Oxy in external forums.
