Oversees the daily operations of the table games department.
The department’s compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Analyzes table games operations to ensure maximum profitability and efficiency.
Reviews and monitors the financial analysis of the table games department.
Investigates reports of variances and takes the appropriate action.
Establishes department goals, objectives, strategies, and planning.
Ensures competitiveness of the table games department by visiting local competitors, studying industry practices, researching and evaluating gaming industry innovations and trends.
Keeps up to date with industry innovations and technology.
Collaborates with manufacturers and suppliers in keeping up with state-of-the-art games and player preference.
Produces policies and procedures for all new table games.
Collaborates with surveillance and compliance to ensure that applicable gaming procedures and regulations are properly implemented and adhered to.
Ensures that the proper conduct and integrity of all table games operations are maintained.
Changes to the physical layout of the tables.
Directs the removal of games and implementation of new games.
Ensures that guests receive quality customer service.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and all applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Bachelor’s degree in business related field is required.
Minimum six (6) years casino table games experience with at least four (4) of the years as a casino table games manager.
Strong baccarat experience preferred.
Las Vegas table games experience preferred.
Must obtain and maintain a TAM/Alcohol Awareness Card.
Must obtain and maintain a Nevada GCB Gaming License.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Must possess excellent communication, motivational, and people skills.
Must be able to effectively communicate with other directors, departments, and the general public.
Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational/experience requirements indicated above.
Work is performed in an office setting and casino resort floor.
Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
May be exposed to smoke.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.
Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, move objects and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Eye/hand coordination.
Use of standard office equipment.
Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
The Director of Table Games is responsible for the overall operation and functions of the Table Games department, in accordance with federal, state, and local gaming regulations, as well as company policies, procedures and internal controls.Responsibilities:
